Introducing The Creative Industry Honours Gala: A New Era for Creativity

4 November 2025

A groundbreaking celebration honouring the artistry, innovation, and cultural excellence shaping the creative world.

For decades, the creative minds behind the scenes, the hairstylists, makeup artists, designers, agents, journalists, and visionaries, have shaped culture from the shadows. In 2026, their moment to step into the spotlight will finally arrive.

The Creative Industry Honours Gala (CIHG) is the first of its kind in the UK, an elegant two-night celebration recognising the exceptional talent and contribution of those working both within and around the creative industry.

The Gala, founded by celebrity hairstylist and entrepreneur Dionne Smith, was conceived as a platform to elevate the people who keep creativity alive. “Our industries are built on artistry and passion,” says Smith. “It’s time we celebrate not just the faces we see, but the hands, hearts, and minds behind them.”

With two spectacular evenings planned, The Creatives’ Night and The Architects’ Soirée, the CIHG promises to merge glamour with purpose, offering a Met Gala–level experience dedicated to creative excellence, cultural contribution, and community.

The event will take place in November 2026, with nominations opening early next year.
Until then, the creative world is invited to register their interest and be part of a movement that will redefine recognition across the arts.
